Nov 2009: Employed by Actress Martine Dunne to record, edit and master a series of poetry recordings for ZigZag educational resources .
Nov 2009: Composer on project by Leeds organisation Artlink facilitating production of a film which documents Asylum-seekers experiences' of living in Leeds.
Nov 2009: Employed by Lumen Arts to deliver sound workshops including one at the Ropeworks in Hull.
Nov 2009: Sound Recordist on documentary by Leeds-based Film Maker Will Docherty for the Arts Council at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
October 2009: Employed by Leeds-based Sound Artist Joe Gilmore to record voice-over audio for a documentary on the Fluxus arts movement.
Sept 2009: Employed by Lumen Arts to deliver more Sound and Post-Production workshops.
Sept 2009: Employed by Lifeforce Productions to work at Leeds City College as a part-time lecturer on their Computerised Music Production Course. The Module I am delivering this semester is the Interdisciplinary Project.
August 2009: Head of Sound on the Talk Together documentary film project by High Altitude Films.
July 2009: Co-Organiser of the I Love West Leeds Festival Radio. Duties included all aspects of Sound Tech, Programming Content and some Presenting. Content can be listened to at the I Love West Leeds Festival website. [link]
June 2009: Employed as Boom Operator, Composer and Sound Producer on "Sniff" - Beat 24 Films entry for Virgin Media Shorts. The film can be viewed at the Virgin Media Shorts website. [link]
May - June 2009: Post-Production work on Beat 24 Film’s feature "Frontman". I am mixing the sound, composing the incidental score and adding Foley sound. The film will be finished soon.
March 2009: Begun working freelance for Lumen Arts in Leeds delivering sound and film workshops.
March - April 2009: Employed by Bent Architect Theatre Company to Tech Sound/Light write Sound-Design and Tour manage "Darwin’s Worms".
Jan 09: Mixing completed for 'Boston manor'.
2008
Oct 08 – Nov 08: Sound & Light for tour of the play "Darwin's Worms" by Bent Architect Productions. Duties included liasing with venues, setting up the stage and lighting then cueing sound and light for the performance. I also built the Sound Design and wrote some incidental music. Sept 08: Composer, Sound Mixing and Production on "Keeping it up with the Jones" a 20 minute independent film. Check out the Film and Theatre Showreel.
Aug 08: Head of Sound on "Frontman", a feature length film by Beat24 Productions. The film is scheduled for release in the summer of 09.
July 08: Producer for "Boston Manor" album project which was recorded by Will Jackson at Soundworks in Leeds.
Jun 08: Head of Sound for filming of "Keeping it up with the Jones".
Spring 08 - Summer 08: worked on a songwriting project with Lifeforce Productions in Leeds working with young people.
2007
Oct 07 – Apr 08: freelance using my professional skills on the LS12 Film Project for Interplay Theatre working with young people. My role was to supervise the production of Sound and Music for 13 short films.
